(i) All questions are compulsory.

(ii) This question paper is divided into two parts- Part - A, Part B.

(iii) Part-'A' consists 20 multiple choice questions carrying 1 mark each.

An old man wan distressed because his sons always quarrelled with one another. One day he called them to him and showed them a bundle of sticks tied together. This they did easily and all the sticks were soon broken into pieces. Thus he taught them that united they would be strong, but disunited they would always be weak.

My role model is a person of quiet but unshakeable strength, much like an old-growth forest. The central idea behind the poem is an awareness of the pain of loss and the courage it takes to accept it. The boy loses his favourite ball and is very upset. He can easily buy another ball but more than money or the new ball, it is the pain of losing the old one that matters the most.
