Instruction:


(i) The first 15 minutes are allotted only for reading the question paper.


(ii) This question paper is divided into two sections.


(iii) Section 'A' contains multiple choice questions. Candidates have to choose the correct option and write the answer in the answer script. 


(iv) Section 'B' contains descriptive answer type questions


(v) All questions are compulsory.


(vi) Marks are indicated against each question.

Q. No.1-3- Read the following passage carefully and answer the questions that follow, choosing the correct option. Hong Kong was silent on whether a former National Security Agency contractors should be extradited to the United States now that he has been charged with espionage, but some legislators said the decision should be up to the Chinese government.


Edward Snowden, believed to be held up in Hong Kong, has admitted providing information to the news media about two highly classified NSA surveillance programmes. Today many varieties of tea and tea brands are available in the market. An innovation is the tea- bag that is easy, quick and less messy than traditional ways of brewing tea. Green tea is popular in China and the Far East. In Japan, the tea ceremony is a traditional way of greeting guests and is a social occasion. Unlike the tea we are familiar with, green tea is not drunk with sugar or milk. Some scientists believe tea prevents tooth decay because it is a rich source of fluoride. Tea is also a folk remedy for stomach upsets, flu and diarrhoea. Research suggests that drinking tea reduces the risk of heart disease and cancer and lowers cholesterol levels in the blood.

The report should also include the action taken by the concerned authorities.

Ans- The mirror played a important role as it saved the doctor's life indirectly . When the snake had coiled around the doctor's arm ,the snake looked at the mirror and was taken away by it's own beauty and it went near the mirror to admire it's beauty at closer quaters.

(b) Einstein was an unusual child with no indication of his potential.

(a) What happened when the elephant reached the town's outskirts?

Ans- Upon entering the outskirts of the town, the mad elephant began rampaging through the streets. It knocked down fences, uprooted trees, and damaged properties as it moved along its path. The sheer force and size of the elephant made it difficult for anyone to stop or control its destructive behavior


(b) Who were the people questioned during the course of the trial and what was each persons defence?
